CAMELS
In centeral Australia there are millions of camels that have turned into plague proportions and are pests to farmers and locals. Kevin Rudd is deciding to cull all the camels in centeral Austrlia.
Some reasons we shouldn’t cull camels in centeral Australia is they’re as important as us so why should they be killed off and we shouldn’t.
Another reason not we shouldn’t kill off all the camels is they are a good tourist attraction and some people come to see the deserts of Australia and seeing camels gallop over the dunes just makes it more special.
The last reason is that camels have been here as long as us and have helpeed us move around before cars and have also been good pets.
Most people reckon we shouldn’t ncull the camels so why should we, people have got better fences and equipment so all this stuff would go to waste and they would lose alot of money.

STEEPLE CHASE
Steeple chasing has been in Australia for over 100 years. It started with 2 Irish men who raced from one church to another one on horses jumping over all the objects in the way. It has since become a tradition.
1.It is not good and has been banned because of the cruelty to horses. It has killed many horses and is very violent and also is dangerous to jockeys too.
2.It is disturbing to the spectators because little kids go and see a horse die and some people go there for a party and horses die in front of them.
3.People shouldn’t enjoy it because the’re basicaly going to see animals die. It is very cruel to animals.
I do not believe it is good for anyone especialy horses and band basicaly everwhere.
Oil Spill
Last week ex-Cyclone Hamish hit a ship carring toxic materials off the coast of Brisbane. The ship ran into massive waves and some toxic containers fell overboard one of wich hit the hull and split it’s fuel tank wich leaked thousands of litres of oil into the ocean. DROWNING DANGER
People are not being aware that you are more likely to drown than get attacked by a shark. Whole families are swept away and drowned in rips. Most people don’t actually learn to swim and learning to swim would save alot of peoples lives. Continue reading
ORANG-UTANS
There has been a massive decline in the Orang-utan population on the two islands of Borneo and Sumutra of Indonesia. Orang-utan means person of the jungle. They eat leaves, fruit, bark and insects
Shark Attacks
There have been a number of shark attacks around Australia and people are considering culling them. On a Tasmanian beach there has been a shark attack and the thirteen year old is lucky. She’s alright but in hospital with two hundred stitches. Continue reading
Bushfire Disaster
The bushfires last week are the worst in history. The death toll has risen above the ash wednesday fires. The fires are around central Victoria and there is one at Wilsons Prom.. The death toll is over two hundred people. Kings Lake and Marysville were hit the worst.
We have now used over ten Billion Litres of water and a arsonist has been caught. Most people are now homeless and in tents or caravans. People are giving giving lots of Donations such as toys, clothes, stationary and money but people only need the money because they don’t have enough storage space.
The ways we could prevent this is being able to clear under growth and trees. The drought isn’t helping either and we are much lower on water now because of the fires.
