The fashion industry should be forced to use the image code because unfortunetley the are a lot of people comparing there bodies to models.it can affect the way people feel about there bodies witch can end up with eating disorders and health problems.

everyday on tv magasigns billboards there is not one glimpse that you would see a normal person and that is now what we are trying to push the fashion industry to force to put normal people on the runway.

so i think we should let  normal people on the runway.

lately in central Australia a debate has arisen about “should camels be culled”. Well camels have been in Australia for over 100 years. Farmers are complaining about the camels breaking through the fences and stealing food and water from  their cattle, so the farmers have gone to the government and put in a complain.

firstly, the camels have a right to stay on the land afrter all they’ve been on the land longer than us, and because of global warming they have no food or water so they are forced to break through things to get what they need.

secondly, if  people have a problem they can just build better and stronger fences because then the camels can’t get in and then the farmers won’t have to complain.

thirdly, camels are very useful because they are good for transport  and for getting rid of pests such as flies, fleas and other bugs and insects.

In conclusion, i think that camels should not be culled and i really don’t think that they are doing any harm

Steeple chasing or jumps racing has been around for over one hundered. It started when two irish men had a bet about racing their horses between two church steeples.recently a debate has arisen around this topic. Steeple chasing should be  BANNED!!

Firstly steeple chasing has been banned in all states in Australia  bar victoria and South Australia. In Victoria horse jumps is very popular. In Warrnambool three horses died in one meet.

Next, it is very distubing for the witnesses to watch the horses go over the jump and then fall to the ground and not know whether they have broken a leg or if it is dead. It is also dangerous for the jokey too, because if the horse falls then the jokey will to, and probally break something in their body too.

Lastly, with lots of people at the races they are likley to drink lots and get DRUNK!!!, there for get crazy!!

On the coast of Queensland there was a Cyclone Hamish. It caused very heavy winds and rain. Although most turned out okay Pacific Adventurer didnt cope well, causing the ship to tip with all  the strong winds. One of the oil tanks fell off and had a hole  and 200,000 liters of oil spilled. Oil is lighter than water so it spreads very quickly and ends up on the beaches.

Sixty-seven killometers of beach was covered in oil. There are no people living on that coastline so there are a lot of birds and animals.

All of the animals have been affected on the beaches and the fish, turtles and dolphins are lickley to choke on the oil.It is also bad for the birds.The vets  would have to get the oil off there feathers or they will be likley to die.

The area is being cleaned up but the government said it will take a week and will cost 700,000 dollars to repair.They have got alot of people to help out too.

The government are saying it will cost 1.5 million dollars and another half a million dollars for the captin.I think thats right but in a way its not the captins fault. 

Last week on Tuesday there was an attack on the Pakistan cricket team. As they were walking from the bus to the stadium. Six police men  were killed,one bus driver and two cricketers were badly injured.

Authorities are saying that the Pakistan police men might have been in with the attack,after the tourists came the police men ran.the Broadcasters said they fell to the floor of the bus as they saw the bus driver shot.

They are saying that there wont be any international cricket in Pakistan for quite some time but it will still go on in other places.

I think they should be just a little more better next time. 

Over the past 20 years the number of orang-utans have decreased dew to the indonesians cutting down thier habitat for money. They live in forrests on islands of borneo and sumatra.Orang-utan means man of the forrest, the dads have cheeks  so that the other Orang-utans cane hear them from far away.They dont leave thier babies until thier 8 years old.

Most of them are orphans that have had thier mothers killed and  taken away from them.The rest of them died.They ran out of food so most of them are taken in by vets or sanctuaries.

When we go to the shops we are actully taking vegtable oil that has palm oil in it witch the Orang-utans eat.They will become icstinct if we dont help them.

the east timor volenteers took there party time to help the east timor kids and familys helpand feel what sort of life the east timor people are living and how lucky they are and how they can help them.

amy was one of the girls.she had never been on a plane before and her dad was very anxious about her going so he dicided to go himself and  use his electrical skills to help them out up there.the east timors used generators for electricity, but they kept running out of battery.they also didnt have any plumming so they had to get there own water from the nearest rivers or dams,so the volenteers helped them get the water.

when they got back they were so thrilled  to even get a little bit of experiance that the east timors shared with them
