Camels should be culled

Lately people have been fussing over whether camels should be culled. Camels have been in Austraila for over 100 years. Every 9 years the population will double. I think we should cull most of them but still keep some.

             The camels are destroying some towns and villages. Like riping through fences and fire hydrans they will do anything for water.

             I think they should just keep  he population under control  by killing only a couple of hundred.

        So i hope i have convised you to keeping the camel population under control.

OIL SPILL

Cyclone Hamish was coming towards a ship that contained dreadfully toxic chemicals. The cyclone caused large waves that the ship ran into. A unstable toxic chemical container fell over board and caused the ship to leak oil everywhere.

Sixty-kilometres of coastline have been covered, including parts of Moreton Island and sunshine coast. Much of t he affected area don’t have many people living there so most of the wildlife will be affected.

Marine animals that have been affected are Tutles, Dolphins and lots more.

People have been cleaning up oil by cleaning the animals. The goverment have estimated it will tasake more than 700,000 dollars to clean up the whole place.

I believe the consequences for companies should be fined lots of money because they should of seen the cyclone coming or at least consiter it.

DROWNING DANGER

In recent years drowning has been a big problem. In a year 50 people die and thousands of rescuses occour. 15 thousand beaches have rips. Rips are very dangerous.

You can tell when there is a rip if all the water has seaweed in it and  where there is no waves. A rip pulls you out to sea. If you are trying to get out of a rip you can swim across it. But never swim against the rip you will just tire your self out. Rips are also slightly deeper and look darker. Not all beaches are patroled. Getting to higher ground is a good way to spot rips. whole families have drowned in rips.

So remember to swim between the flags and try to stay out of deeper water. Don’t panic when in a rip.

First my name is alfie g and i am 12 years old and i love to play basketball.

I also enjoy cricket, footy, tennis, golf, mini golf, baseball and swimming and last but not least DODGEBALL

My teacher for year 6 is mrs North who i have also had in year 4.

Mrs North is one of the nicest people you will ever meet.

My mums name is Mary she works at the kinder here and she has been teaching at this school since 2003 and she loves it here.

My dads name is Chris he teachers year 7,8,9 and 10 i think

anyway i have been at this school for 7 years and i love this school i have made great friends and the school is very sporty.
My intersts in school are p.e. , art, music and library and math.

When i am older i want to be a basketball player who plays for NBA OR NBL.

i absolutly love basketball

My favorite Basketball team is nets,miami and lakers.

My favorite colour is green

my eyes are green

my hair is blonde and a bit of brown

my favorite tv shows are simpsons and family guy.

my favorite movie is longest yard.

my favorite tipe of car is a lamborghini Galrdo, Bughatti,nissan skyline and a ferrari enzo.

my favorite food is tarcos or lasagne.

  Last week there were lots of fire’s around Victoria. Lots of people have died or been hurt,some have lost their families  and houses. Unfortunatly someone lit some of the fire’s which has killed hundreds of people.

      To help you can donate money or clothes or just your time. Some sport stars have com to sign clothes, hugs and playing with them. Billions of litre’s of water have been used to put out some of the fire’s.

 

         Next time they need better communication when trying to alert people. They are working on when there is a fire a message will go straight to your phone or email. People are still very upset please donate.
