Mexico’s people are now getting very ill because of the terrible disease Swine Flu. Mexico’s population is 5 times more than Australia. Last week Mexico City began to look like a ghost town as lots of people hid in their homes and lots of places were closed and schools were scrubbed with disinfected. As each went by a lot of countries were being affected by Swine Flu and hundreds of people were sent to hospital.

Pigs and birds are one of the main reasons for people getting swine flu for e.g. a farmer has chickens and pigs and the chickens and pigs have the flu then the farmer picks up the chicken and pig and then there is human flu, pig flu, chicken flu and then there is Swine Flu.

In my own opinion I think people who don’t have Swine flu should raise money to find a cure this disease because this disease could get worse.

The Great Barrier Reef is one of the largest coral reefs in the world and is also one of the seven wonders of the world but now it is under thret because of the terrible pollution occuring there. If this terrible event keeps on happening then the GBR( Great Barrier Reef) will not look very pretty and the coral will loose all it’s colour.

Coral is simply going to crumble if we don’t try to make an effort and stop this shocking event to keep on happening. When the carbon dioxide meets with the ocean it sucks it up and has a huge impact on all the coral and the sea. Coral isn’t the only thing being effected by carbon dioxide their are some plankton being affected by the gas. Scientist are trying very hard too look for more creatures being effected by carbon dioxide and so far are doing a great job.

In my personal opinion i do think that people should be more aware what is going on in other parts of the world because they are ruining the environment and we need the environment to live and is also making the world a not very nice place.

On the 3/3/09 armed Pakistan men attacked the Sri Lankan cricket team as they drove to play Pakistan in Lahore,Pakistan. Six policemen were killed and 2 cricketers were very badly injured.

Why would anyone want to kill cricketers? Well that is the question everyone is asking. Its actually an act of terrorism. This has made all the Pakistani supporters very upset because it means that there will be no ICC cricket world cup there in 2011 and there will be no 2010 Commonwealth Games there either.

If armed men trying to shoot me with guns i would be absolutely terrified and I think that the men who were trying to shoot the Sri Lankan team should go to jail and I also think that they should owe them a huge apology.

Kevin Garnett is an American profesional basketball player for the NBA’s Boston Celtics. After graduating from Farragut Career Academy he was the fifth player drafted in 1995. He became the first NBA drafted player directly out of high school in 20 years. The orang-utan is no cheeky monkey, it is an ape. The orang-utans are on the road to becoming extinct because workers are bulldozing their jungles for timber and destroying millions of their homes. The orang-utans live in the jungles in Asia of the island of Borneo and Sumatra. Orang-utans can extend their arms to two metres wide!

Their Jungles have been cleared to plant palm oil plantation. Palm oil is a type of vegetable oil and is used in a lot of food products and is not very good for you.

The orang-utans spend most of their lives in trees and they eat fruit, bark and insects.

                     STOP HURTING THE ORANG-UTANS!!
