The Sri lankan cricketers were heading to a game agaist pakistan in lahore when armed men jumped out of know where and opened fire on the two mini bus’s and the Sri lankans bus. The teams bus driver was shot dead two other policeman died and two of the Sri lankan cricketers were seriously injured.

Everyone is asking the question why would anyone do this? you see they are treated like rockstars over there so why would someone do this? well it looks like an act of terrisom. Now thats lets a word you have herd over the years. Terrorists design things to either shock you or get your attienon. They target famous people or famous places to get your attention.

    For pakastan the future of hosting not only cricket games but things like the commenwelth games and spiecial things like that is looking dull. They were due to hold the world cup in 2011 but that can not be certain any more. But international cricket will still go on as pakastan is due to play Ausralia next month.It will be in a neutral country in the Middle East. Organisers hope it will be safe from any violence and Pakistan is still one of the world’s best cricket teams. Lets all hope that one day Pakastan can play at home again.
