Surfing is a fun and fantastic sport. You see older people out and the beaches early catching some of the early morning swell. Children these days surf and even enter junior comps. But surfing is a great thing, you don’t have to be a pro to get the old Malabo out and go for a surf.

Australian surfer Mick Fanning has won this years world title. Mick started learning how to surf at age five, and has worked his way up to champion. He started surfing at junior comps in NSW. Now he travels around the world to show of his god given talent to the world.

Young Australian surfer Nat Young is Australia’s new hot shot for 2010. Nat will be competing the world title in 2010. He has been dreaming since primery school of going up agenst the legends of the sea. Young femal teenagers have been very slim. Not many femal surfers have been learning to surf. Most surfers come from the NSW, and QL regon. Surf schools are incorraging young children to start to learn how to surf.

On the 4th of March the Sri Lanka cricket team was ambushed while on the bus at Lahore. They were on their way to a cricket match in Pakistan when armed men surrounded the bus and fired at the bus with rifles, killing six police officers and a driver. The government think that the men were terrorists. Tterrorists always target famous or people that are always in the spotlight. Because they always want to get attention.

Cricket games are not going to be played over in Pakistan for a while because of the dangers. Pakistan was going to host the world cup in 2011 but now it most likely not going to happen. Pakistan to many people is a dangerous place which is suffering from many things. Peshawar is one of the most dangerous cities in Pakistan. It lies next to the tribal border area between the two countries and is regularly hit by suicide bombers. A very important man was kidnapped there and is still held captive in these stages.

i think the cricketers are extremely lucky they did not get badly hurt or even killed. i agree with the decision of the government by not having any cricket matches over there for a while. they need to be locked up or delt with before anyone else gets hurt

I hate to think about the cricketers and others who were involved in the event and it puts a bad thought into all our minds of this horrific tragedy.
