SWINE FLU!!!

On BTN they did a story on swine flu some people in the world  are scared  of it becoming a pandemic but  it is not one yet.The swine flu is a virus that  scientists think it is a flu from birbs,pigs and humans all combined.They think that a pig has had pig flu then caught bird flu then caught human flu and they all combined together. Allready hundreds of people have died in mexico from swine flu. All the schools and local places have been shut down in New York schools have been sprayed with disinfection.The Australian goverment has lots of plans to help swine flu go away I think that it will come to Australia  and we will need it to make it go away and the doctors will find a cure. The message is to wash wipe cover don’t infect  an other.

 

 

ACID OCEAN!!!

I could not believe that the ocean is becoming acid from the carbon dioxide in the air. The wind and the water pulls the carbon dioxide from the air to make it carbonic acid.

Even the Great Barrier Reef is dissolving and losing its colour. It is really week acid but scientists think that over time it will dissolve. This is another reason to stop producing carbon dioxide so it also stops global warming. Now plankton is a small sea creature that is dieing from the acid krill eat plankton so whales and other sea creatures may die.

I think that we stop polluting the planet so two bad things want happen global warming and this. So we just need to tell those stupid people who don’t care about the planet to start caring or make it a law

In Pakistan the Sri lanka cricket team got gunned down when the team was driving to the game.Two cricketers who were badly Hurt.Now that this has happened most goverments are judging if they should have international cricket.They are also judging if they should host the world cup in 2011.It might have been terroist it might even be people from Sri lanka the pakistan goverment has promest to find the killers.There has been a lot of fighting in Pakistan so that might explian a lot.I think they should still have cricket in pakistan but know games in war torn countrys.know that this  has happened why are’t they getting more police? I think that they should get people to see if the places are okay for the cricketers.

DENGUE FEVER!!

This week on btn there is a story on dengue fever also know as break bone fever.You get it from mosquitoes called Aagis Aegypti.There are over 300 types of mozzies.They like  warm places this is were  the mozzie busters go warm houses to kill them.Now it has been spreading to the northen territory.When you get dengue you get headackes,rashes and your bones feel kike they are going to break.The australian goverment has tried to come up with plans to kill mozzies.It is getting really bad over 600 people have got dengue since christmas.I think they should try to find a natural killer so they can spray it every where and know one will get sick from the chemicals.

orang-utans

This week on BTN there is a story on orang-utans because they are on the road to becoming extinct. You have to be careful because they are killing their homes for palm oil. We have to try not to buy things with palm oil. Some mothers have been killed from bulldozer because I think that they tried to fight. Now they are dead, so their babies have to go to a orang-utan orphanage where they are rebuilding their lives so they can go back to the wild. Now to prove that they are on the road to being extinct the orang-utan population has gone down by at least 35%. I think that they should stop chopping down the trees. So the orang-utans wont become extinct. Stop buying food with palm oil please! I think that they should stop so they make the place touristy and build a orang-utan zoo so they can still make money.
