In recent news the Sir Lankan cricket team was attacked. A local group of Pakistan citizens open fired on the team’s bus. Two of the cricketers and two police were injured. No one knows why the citizens open fired. Some say they want to make attention or the way their country works. They also say it may be due to religion.
This had made a big hole in international cricket. Because of this attack people are saying no more international cricket. Pakistan is supposed to hold the world cup in 2011 but people think otherwise. Some people are not surprised about the attack because of all the terrorism in Pakistan. The police still haven’t identified if it was defiantly Pakistan people who did the attack. Even though the government doesn’t know which country did the attack he wants to bring them to justice.
A couple of teams say they won’t be playing in Pakistan for a while. I think if stuff like this keeps happening there won’t be any international cricket. If there isn’t any international cricket thousands of jobs will be lost and make our financial problem even worse.
