Animals have been found in completely burnt down places.  Animals have lost their homes, mums, dads, brothers and sisters, some have even lost their owners.

Animals will be let back into the wild but some animals will never be aloud back into the wild because of permanent injuries and will need to be looked after by vets or animal specialists and will never be able to go back to their homes.

So if you ever see an animal in the fire zone please pick it up instead of leaving it for dead.
